If you’ve ever wanted to take a glimpse into the history of Lithuania’s Soviet past, there are many ways to do so. You can start with a Soviet-themed tour of the city or dive into a full-blown Soviet bunker experience complete with gasmasks, tanks and ‘gourmet’ rations. Don’t forget about the fact that Vilnius served as the backdrop for HBO’s renowned series Chernobyl, which means you can also take a tour of the districts and spots that were used to recreate Pripyat in the show. Finally, if you’re more into revving engines you can take a ride in a notoriously kitschy Lada car or even operate an excavator in search of some team treasure.
