Things to consider before renting and buying an apartment:

Don’t forget to register your place of residence

  • A Lithuanian residence permit.

Open a bank account

Opening a bank account is quite easy, just go to your preferred bank and sign a bank account contract. Anyone can do this by providing their identity card or passport.

This process may change as a result depending on the specific rules of each bank.
