House of Histories exhibition space

The House of Histories is a space where history is presented to visitors not as a fixed past, but as a reality created and still being created by all of us.

This is a place where visitors are invited to talk about the manifold conception of history and different points of view. What happened in the past is now being studied by historians, archaeologists and anthropologists and is inspiring designers, artists, photographers and many other creators. This entire synthesis of differences is summarised by one work – the exhibition, and its author – the curator.

The House of Histories exhibition space takes up two storeys of this historic building. The large exhibition is presented to visitors on the ground floor, and the small exhibition is upstairs. The exhibitions here are always accompanied by workshops, both live and virtual. Therefore, everyone is welcome at the House of Histories – no matter what your age.

*On the last Sunday of every month, the permanent exhibition at the Ethnography Depositories can be visited free of charge from 11:00 to 16:00. Visits are conducted hourly in groups of up to 25 people. Tickets for temporary exhibitions are available at a 50% discount.
