Students are admitted to Vilnius city schools year-round, but the main centralised admission process for public schools usually runs from March 1 to May 31. Additional admission dates are published on the City Municipality website.

Applications are usually submitted via the Association of Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions (LAMA BPO) between June 1 and July 22.
Note: Applying directly to individual institutions excludes eligibility for state-funded places.
High-performing students may receive scholarships or free tuition. Other students must cover tuition fees themselves.
