Vokiečių 6

A branch of the Vilnius City Museum. Vokiečių 6 is dynamic and ever-changing, just like the city itself. Every year, it hosts 2 to 3 exhibitions based on research that probes Vilnius life, telling the story of the city and its people. Vokiečių 6 invites visitors to look into their everyday surroundings and see something unexpected. The main aim of Vokiečių 6 is to educate residents who are invested in their city and know it well. Up until 2025, this branch of the museum was known as the Vilnius Museum.

Vokiečių 6 opened its doors to visitors in the spring of 2021. It is currently based in a temporary venue and hopes to move to the Kirdiejai Residence (Barboros Radvilaitės g. 4) by the end of 2027. In addition to temporary exhibitions, the Kirdiejai Residence will also host a permanent exhibition on Vilnius, as is the norm for city museums. It will also house the administration of the entire Vilnius City Museum.
