There used to be a radio factory here. Now gallery 1986 in Naujamiestis broadcasts a different signal: electronic music parties, concerts, film screenings, exhibitions and discussions about contemporary art. Private events can be hosted here too.
It all started with gigs in a flat. Today it’s a live music club where jazz and soul fill the room, international artists and rising talents take to the stage, and original projects and unexpected collaborations come to life. The sound is in the hands of a concert system installed by SONUS, among the most impressive in Vilnius.
This space was founded and is curated by contemporary artists Antanas Gerlikas and Kotryna Butautytė, so everything here is seen through an artist’s eyes. Visual art presentations, experimental music performances and sound performances come together in one place.
With Vilnius Night Pass: free entry to events. Follow the programme on Instagram.
