Vilnius Wins Bid to Host JURIX 2021

This year the 34th conference on Legal Knowledge and Information Systems (JURIX 2021) will be hosted in Vilnius on 8-10 December.

After a successful bid winnery, proposed by Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) together with Go Vilnius, Lithuanian capital is officially confirmed as a destination for gathering European/worlwide legal tech community in 2021. The MRU has been chosen as a local host and organiser.

Depending on COVID-19 situation, the conference will promote physical participation and networking as well as provide hybrid participation opportunities. Totally around 250 participants are expected representing government, academia and business sectors. The conference will cover the topics ranging from eGovernment, legal ontologies, legal XML, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), argumentation, deontic logics, etc.

Vilnius is extremely pleased to become a space for IT and law experts meeting here for the leading community event already this December. Lithuania has vibrant community of technologies and Vilnius is home to a rapidly developing and innovative business ecosystem. The city is constantly developing strategies to support the continued growth of Shared Service Centers, FinTech, ICT, high-tech manufacturing and biotechnology.

Prestigious JURIX conferences are held annually since 1988. The proceedings of the conferences are published in the Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and Applications series of IOS Press.
