Global Travel Leaders to Gather in Vilnius for LCC Summit on AI and Next-Generation Travel

More than 100 travel professionals from around the world will meet in the Lithuanian capital to explore the future of travel technology and innovation.

Lufthansa City Center (LCC) will bring its global travel agency network to Vilnius this summer with the launch of the LCC Summit 2026, taking place 7–9 June 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva. The new summit format marks a shift from traditional conference structures toward a highly interactive, operationally focused gathering designed to deliver practical value for the global LCC travel agency network.

More than 100 participants from LCC agencies worldwide will meet with over 30 travel technology providers, AI innovators, and industry suppliers to explore emerging solutions shaping the future of travel distribution and agency operations.

Rather than relying on conventional presentations, the summit introduces a dynamic format combining barcamps, focused workshops, speed networking sessions, and live solution testing. Through these interactive formats, participants will exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and explore concrete solutions that can be implemented directly in their day-to-day business.

Artificial intelligence, technology, next generation travel, and leadership will be among the key themes explored during the two day program. A dedicated Start-Up stage will connect LCC travel entrepreneurs with innovative solutions developed in Vilnius and the wider region.

Vilnius: a dynamic setting for innovation and international collaboration

The choice of Vilnius reflects the summit’s forward looking mindset. The Lithuanian capital has rapidly emerged as one of Europe’s most dynamic ecosystems for innovation, startups and technology talent, offering an inspiring environment for forward thinking industry discussions.

Beyond the conference sessions, participants will also experience the city through curated networking events, including two evening dinners and a destination experience highlighting Vilnius’ culture and hospitality.

“This is not about listening — it’s about creating. The new format focuses on practical operational exchange, technology and AI solutions, and supplier innovations and thus is at the heart of today’s needs. Participants will work together to explore concrete use cases, challenge existing industry models and co-develop ideas that can be directly implemented in daily business operations”, states Heiko Brix Managing Director of Lufthansa City Center International. “Vilnius as hub for innovation was chosen on purpose - a symbol for future oriented young and innovate ideas and entrepreneurs who perfectly connect to our Lufthansa City Center mindset “, continues Siiri Palisaar, Senior Director Sales Steering.

The event is supported by Go Vilnius, the city’s official tourism and investment development agency, and Lithuania Travel, the national tourism development agency.

“We are delighted that Lufthansa City Center has chosen Vilnius for the launch of the LCC Summit. With its strong community of innovators and entrepreneurs, the city offers an inspiring setting for forward looking discussions about the future of travel. We look forward to welcoming the global LCC network to Vilnius”, says Vita Žilinskaitė, Head of the Convention Bureau at Go Vilnius.

Driving the future of travel entrepreneurship

With this new format, Lufthansa City Center aims to create a platform for practical solutions, entrepreneurial exchange and industry innovation, strengthening collaboration across its global network of travel agencies and partners.

By bringing travel professionals together in Vilnius, the LCC Summit 2026 also highlights the city’s growing role as a meeting point for innovation, collaboration and next-generation travel industry dialogue.
