Vilnius will host the WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships (WTDGC) on 8–12 September, welcoming a record number of teams and countries to Lithuania's capital.
With 49 teams from 32 countries already registered across the Open and Masters divisions, WTDGC 2026 is set to become the largest and most internationally diverse edition of the championship to date. The sixth edition of the event will also introduce a Masters division for the first time, marking another step in the continued growth of team disc golf worldwide.
The championship is being organised in partnership with the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), Team DiscCity, the Lithuanian Flying Disc Federation and the Lithuanian Disc Golf Federation. Athletes, officials and supporters from around the world are expected to travel to Vilnius for the five-day event.
Competition will take place on two 18-hole championship-standard courses located within Pavilniai Regional Park. The setting offers players the opportunity to compete surrounded by nature while remaining just minutes from Vilnius city centre, combining world-class sporting infrastructure with easy access to the city's cultural, historical and hospitality experiences.
The 2026 championship also marks the first time WTDGC will be held in association with the PDGA, reflecting the continued international development of team disc golf and the growing profile of the event within the global disc sports community.
