For more than a decade, Lithuania has been rapidly expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) sector. What began as basic operational support functions has evolved into advanced, high-value competence centers. By 2025, the sector employs over 27,000 specialists, with Vilnius leading the country by hosting 72 GBS centers, which is more than 70 % of all centers in Lithuania.
Vilnius’ strength in the GBS sector comes from its highly educated, tech-savvy talent capable of managing even the most complex international projects. The city also benefits from a mature, scalable ecosystem and targeted government incentives, creating a supportive and cost-effective environment for global companies.
