Historic Factory Building to Become New Conference Centre at Tech Zity Vilnius

Vilnius will expand its portfolio of conference venues in September 2026 with the opening of a new SAMSUNG Conference Centre at Tech Zity Vilnius, a rapidly growing technology and creative industries campus being developed in the former sewing factory complex in the city's Naujamiestis district. The project forms part of the wider transformation of the historic industrial site into a mixed-use hub for business, innovation, culture and events.

The new venue will be housed in the oldest building within the former factory complex, carefully restored to preserve its industrial character while introducing modern event infrastructure. Original architectural elements and materials have been incorporated into the design, creating a distinctive setting for conferences, gala dinners, networking events and other gatherings. One of the venue's defining features is an authentic 75-year-old vaulted ceiling rising seven metres high, preserved as the centrepiece of the main event space.

The conference centre will feature three dedicated event halls. The main hall will accommodate up to 500 participants in theatre-style seating, while two additional meeting rooms can be used separately or combined into a larger space for medium-sized events. A welcome area and restaurant will be located on the ground floor, while organisers will also have access to a nearly 400 sq. m heated orangery and a spacious outdoor courtyard suitable for receptions and events during the warmer months.

The venue will be equipped with large LED screens, full blackout capability, enhanced acoustics suitable for live performances, atmospheric lighting and digital signage throughout the building. As part of the wider Tech Zity Vilnius campus, delegates will also have access to a variety of restaurants, cafés, bars and informal networking spaces.

The opening represents another step in the expansion of Vilnius' meetings infrastructure, particularly in the growing Naujamiestis district, which has become one of the city's most dynamic business and creative neighbourhoods.

The new conference centre will complement Tech Zity's existing event portfolio, which already includes venues at Tech Park and Tech Arts, offering organisers a range of event settings from urban innovation hubs to riverside creative spaces.
