Right in the heart of the city, K. Sirvydas Square transforms into a true childhood Christmas fairy tale! Remember yourself when you were five years old - when Christmas felt like pure magic, sweets smelled like heaven, and Christmas decorations were so bright and beautiful, they made your eyes sparkle!
This year, a forest of international Christmas trees will grow in K. Sirvydas Square. Together with International House Vilnius, we’ll bring 144 Christmas trees - one for each foreign community living in our city. We invite everyone to celebrate the diverse roots that help the city thrive.
Each tree will stand as a symbol of friendship, culture, and shared joy - showing how many hearts it takes to make a city feel like home.
When you visit the square, scan the QR code on the Christmas gift and immerse yourself in a special journey in video format: representatives of Vilnius’ international communities will share their childhood memories of Christmas and winter from around the world.
You’ll also discover a wonderful installation at K. Sirvydas Square - a giant red sleigh, reminding you of the joy and playfulness of childhood winters. Come take photos on the sleigh, enjoy the moments, and share them on social networks by tagging @govilnius.
Come and rediscover what it means to see Christmas once again through a child’s eyes - full of curiosity and delight.
