Christmas currency
We invite you to return to your childhood – a time when it seemed that you could buy sweets and experiences with anything but real money. For a limited time, and only on 13 December, Vilnius will exchange real currency for a special kind that brings back childhood memories. How will everything work?
Starting from 10:00, visit one of the Christmas Bank branches. You’ll find the Christmas Banks in the following locations:
Vilnius Tourist Information Centre, Pilies str. 7.
JUDU Customer Service Centre, Gedimino Ave. 9A (Vincas Kudirka Square).
Money museum of the Bank of Lithuania, Totorių St. 2/8
Cathedral Square, Christmas Market (a house with a sign saying "Christmas Bank").
Town Hall Square, Vilnius Ice Market (a house with a sign saying "Christmas Bank”).
Complete a short task – the Christmas Bank staff will explain what you need to do.
Receive 1 unit of Christmas currency.
Check the Christmas Currency Partners Map and choose one of the partner venues you like, where you can spend your special currency on a delicious surprise or experience.
Head there and enjoy your “purchased” surprise!
