Historical dinner at Vilnius' oldest hotel Narutis

Dating back to 1581 and continuously operational, for 106 years, since 1918, the iconic Narutis hotel cordially invites you on a journey through the medieval buildings that once housed renowned writers, artists, professors, and nowadays presidents and worldwide stars.

During a guided 40-minute tour, you will have a chance to marvel at original Baroque frescoes and delve into the rich history of one of the oldest buildings in Vilnius. In addition, you will have an opportunity to glimpse at the modern elegance of our 5-star hotel rooms, suites, and event halls from the inside.
After the historical journey, you will be invited to a four-course dinner created by the Narutis restaurant chef:

  • Smoked Lithuanian eel accompanied by grapefruit jelly, sweet potato crisps, and smoked eel and cheese sauce.
  • Chopped lamb Kybyn with beef consommé and a shot of Krupnik. This authentic Karaite dish is prepared according to the generation’s old recipe passed by the hotel’s owner’s mother.
  • Slow-cooked beef cheek, braised in Lithuanian black currant wine, paired with a velvety potato and Lithuanian boletus mash, garnished with almond flakes and coriander snow, and crispy salsify.
  • Homemade poppy seed ice cream with crushed strawberries – our hotel's signature dessert cherished by our guests for over 25 years.
