Cherry blossom photoshoot

The shade of the sakuras is an ideal place for a wonderful picnic, a romantic photoshoot or just a moment to dream. Cherry blossoms symbolise the fleeting nature of life and a time of renewal, so take a moment to admire this ephemeral miracle.

Watch as nature wakes up in Vilnius’ parks

In spring, Vilnius blooms in a variety of colours, and you’ll find the most beautiful of blossoms at the Vilnius University Botanical Garden. The scent of hyacinths will make your head spin, while the daffodils shine like the sun and the profusion of tulips makes you feel like you’re in Holland. Recharge in the outdoors – take your shoes off and feel the earth wake up as you walk along the barefoot trail. Looking for tranquillity or want to try forest swimming? There’s enough space at Vingis Park for everyone, whether you’re interested in sports and activities, or peace and solitude. Or perhaps you’d like to spend some time in a fairy-tale? Take a walk in the old apple orchard near Belmontas and admire the views from the Pūčkoriai Outcrop.

Stop by Vilnius’ Open Cafe

Coffee with a view like no other? Dessert while spring unfolds? When the weather warms up, Vilnius transforms into a big open-air café, enticing us with its smells and flavours. Enjoy the sunshine in the urban café, no matter where you are – in the parks and squares, near popular tourist attractions, or in the city’s cosy courtyards. Sit down and admire the UNESCO World Heritage sites or get a coffee to go that will surely complement the flavours of discovery.
