Day of the Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania

The Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania was signed on 11 March 1990. The commemoration of this day honours those who died for the freedom of Lithuania with a flag-raising ceremony in Independence Square, concerts and exhibitions all over the city.
