A map of city experiences is fun-filled entertainment for children aged 7-10. All you need is a pen! Following the route, kids will be encouraged to take note of 15 small but incredibly interesting city highlights, including sculptures of puppies, teddy bears and a mermaid, and will have a chance to measure themselves up to the great flood of Vilnius, pet a cat’s nose, and – most importantly – explore the city and perform fun tasks.

A gingerbread bakery hidden in the heart of Vilnius is inviting children to enjoy some sweet education! During the class, you will learn a lot of interesting things about gingerbread before getting to the most important part – baking. You’ll knead and roll the dough and then make gingerbread, shaping and decorating them any way you like! You can then give your beautifully packaged creations to someone you love, like your parents or grandparents.

Come join us on an unreal tour of Ukrainian fairy tales. They flew to our beautiful city of Vilnius, and you know where they landed? Well, not far from the monument to Ukrainian singer Taras Shevchenko. All you have to do is find clues, and tales will unravel about courage and bravery, wars, defeated dragons, and all kinds of bad guys; about good and bad teachers, about spells, craftsmanship, cat tricks and... about not having patience. And how many weddings there will be! Maybe we’ll even sing and dance? The tour is for all fairy tale lovers, big and small.

Gražina Brašiškytė was Lithuania’s first professional animation artist. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with her work. In seven halls, you will see different animated films as well as their characters, sketches, backgrounds, frames, and scenes created from backgrounds and characters drawn on sheet of plastic.

The Ukrainian and Lithuanian nations have long been linked by a common history, and they say that the values that these countries are based on are also similar. Come learn how to make Lithuanian straw gardens and get a taste of a centuries-old tradition. These gardens are made by stringing pieces of dry straw on thread, and can take a wide variety of shapes. During the class, participants will become acquainted with this traditional craft and learn how to prepare the straw and thread it to create their very own little straw garden. The workshop will be conducted by folk artist Marija Liugienė, and is open to adults and children aged 14 and up.
