Vilnius is a few hundred kilometres away from Ukraine, but you can still find many signs of a common history and traces of Ukrainian culture. You just need to get into it. Go Vilnius invites you to learn new stories about the Vilnius of Ukrainians and spend an active weekend with friends or family.
If you like to solve riddles and are ready to test your knowledge – it’s time to put together a team and take part in a scavenger hunt. Log in to the tasks and join in on the fun. As you race around Vilnius on foot, you’ll discover mysteries that not everyone knows of.

Vilnius has a truly memorable experience to offer – a hot air balloon ride right in the heart of the city! If the weather is good, the Oreivystės Centras team will fire up their balloons and give Ukrainians a quick glimpse of Vilnius from above. The ride will take about five minutes, and the balloon will be tethered to the ground with a long rope.
Date, time: Rides are scheduled for 14 and 15 May, but the exact start time will depend on weather conditions; look for information about the time and location on this website the day before.

Lithuania and Ukraine in Vilnius are connected by history and personalities. Walking through the streets and streets of old Vilnius, we will talk about the history of Vilnius and how it relates to Ukraine. Cathedral Square, Palace of the Rulers, University, Castle and Great Streets, Town Hall, Basilica Monastery, Užupis Constitution in Ukrainian, st. St. Anne's Church and we will return to the Cathedral Square.

During these walks, Vilnius residents will tell you about the city, invite you to visit the places they like themselves, and share practical advice. What is this city? How did it become what it is today? Where should you go if you’re looking for peace and quiet, and where should you go if you’re looking for excitement? Where can you find the most beautiful panorama of the city? Where is the coffee good, and where do we go for beer? We’ll meet at the Vilnius Museum at Vokiečių g. 6 and set off from there. The routes and stories will be a little different, since they depend on the guide, who will share his or her personal knowledge about life in Vilnius. The guides will be special people who really know the city.

Lukiškės Prison 2.0 invites Ukrainians to discover a prison liberated by culture. Hour-long walks in English and Russian. For 115 years, Lukiškės Prison was protected by high walls and barbed wire, but today it is open to curious visitors. The last inmates were only moved from this prison in 2019. Today, the prison has taken on a new spirit and invites visitors to discover these mysterious grounds and take in its unique atmosphere. Take a tour, see the prison cells, hear interesting stories, and be prepared for new experiences.
