Parking in Vilnius

Like all other EU capitals, you’ll find that you need to pay to park in the central areas of the city. Prices are generally reasonable and there’s an easy to use app that lets you pay for parking without having to worry about messing around with parking meters. The city is divided into four color coded zones:
  • Green zone costs 0.30 EUR/1 hour (Mon-Sat 08:00-18:00)
  • Yellow zone costs 0.60 EUR/1 hour (Mon-Sat 08:00-20:00 (Turgaus, Rinktinės, Geležinkelio streets and Sodų, Pylimo near Halė Market Mon-Sun 08:00-20:00))
  • Red zone costs 1.5 EUR/1 hour (Mon-Sat 08:00-22:00)
  • Blue zone costs 2.5 EUR/1 hour (Mon-Sun 08:00-24:00)

Park & Ride

There are four specially designated parking spots throughout the city where you can leave your car. Once there, for a small 0.50EUR fee, you’ll be able to leave your car and use public transport for the day. It’s a fantastic scheme designed to reduce the city’s traffic and you can even use it with the “Citybee” app.

You can find the locations of the “Park and Ride” car parks here.
