Bring the Light of Christmas to Your Balcony

Christmas is not cancelled in Vilnius! Even though the opportunity to meet up with friends is slim, people in Vilnius are still set on creating a festive atmosphere for everyone to see.

The city’s Christmas tree is living up to its reputation and is truly exquisite, the Old Town is brighter than ever and the city is taking decorations to a whole new level. Decorations have extended to private balconies, terraces and courtyards in each one of the city’s districts.

Masks cannot cover the Christmas spirit in Vilnius. From 8-27 December, people of Vilnius spread festive joy from their balconies, terraces and windows. Creative Christmas decorations illuminated all districts of Vilnius and delighted passers-by from afar.

So who had the most impressive decorations? People voted on LRT.lt and chose Robertas (Antakalnio g. 37) for his creativity and unique idea. The winner will enjoy an exclusive prize – a night for two at Pacai Hotel and a romantic breakfast on the large balcony.
